Community Guidelines

FabMeet is built on respect, authenticity, and kindness. These Community Guidelines help ensure that everyone has a positive experience while using our app. By using FabMeet, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Core Principles

1. Be Respectful

Treat others the way you want to be treated. Show respect for different backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives. Harassment, hate speech, and discriminatory behavior have no place on FabMeet.

2. Be Authentic

Be yourself and represent yourself honestly. Use real photos, accurate information, and genuine intentions. Catfishing, impersonation, and deception are strictly prohibited.

3. Be Safe

Protect yourself and others by following our Safety Guidelines. Report suspicious behavior, never share financial information, and meet in public places.

4. Be Kind

Rejection is part of dating, but it should always be done respectfully. If you're not interested, simply pass or unmatch. There's no need for rude or hurtful messages.

Profile Guidelines

Profile Photos

DO:

• Use clear, recent photos of yourself
• Show your face in at least one photo
• Use photos that represent you accurately
• Include a variety of photos (full body, close-up, activities)

DON'T:

• Use photos of other people
• Post photos with children (yours or others)
• Include nudity or sexually explicit content
• Use heavily filtered or misleading photos
• Post photos with contact information or watermarks
• Include photos of weapons, drugs, or illegal activities

Profile Information

• Provide accurate age, location, and bio information
• Keep your bio appropriate and respectful
• Don't include contact information (phone, email, social media)
• Don't promote businesses, services, or external websites

Messaging Guidelines

Appropriate Communication

DO:

• Start with a friendly, respectful greeting
• Ask questions and show genuine interest
• Respect boundaries and consent
• Accept rejection gracefully

DON'T:

• Send unsolicited explicit messages or photos
• Harass or spam users
• Use offensive, abusive, or threatening language
• Pressure others for personal information or meetings
• Share others' private conversations or photos

Prohibited Content and Behavior

Absolutely Not Allowed:

• Nudity or Sexual Content: No explicit photos, videos, or messages
• Harassment: No bullying, stalking, or unwanted contact
• Hate Speech: No discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Violence: No threats, promotion of violence, or graphic content
• Illegal Activities: No drugs, weapons, human trafficking, or other illegal content
• Scams: No soliciting money, promoting schemes, or fraudulent activities
• Minors: No content involving anyone under 18
• Spam: No promotional content, advertising, or mass messaging
• Impersonation: No pretending to be someone else
• Private Information: No sharing others' personal information without consent

Reporting and Blocking

How to Report

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:

• Tap the three dots on a user's profile or message
• Select "Report"
• Choose the reason for reporting
• Provide additional details if needed

How to Block

You can block any user at any time:

• Tap the three dots on their profile
• Select "Block"
• They won't be able to see your profile or contact you

What Happens After a Report

Our safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Depending on the severity:

• Warning issued to the user
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent ban from FabMeet
• Report to law enforcement (for illegal activities)

Consequences of Violations

First Violation

Minor violations may result in a warning and content removal. You'll be notified and given a chance to review these guidelines.

Repeated Violations

Multiple violations will result in temporary account suspension (7-30 days). During this time, you won't be able to access FabMeet.

Serious Violations

Serious violations (harassment, explicit content, illegal activities) result in immediate and permanent account termination. You will not be allowed to create a new account.

Legal Action

Illegal activities will be reported to law enforcement. We cooperate fully with legal authorities to ensure user safety.

Age Requirements

FabMeet is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. We have zero tolerance for:

• Users under 18
• Content involving minors
• Attempts to contact minors

If we discover a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated and reported to authorities if necessary.

Respect Intellectual Property

• Only post content you own or have permission to use
• Don't use copyrighted images, music, or other content without permission
• Respect others' privacy and don't share their photos without consent

Off-Platform Behavior

While we can't control what happens off FabMeet, we encourage you to:

• Continue being respectful when moving to other platforms
• Follow our Safety Guidelines when meeting in person
• Report any concerning behavior that started on FabMeet

Updates to Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of FabMeet means you accept the updated guidelines.
